An Awesome Day Out With Dey.
We made sushi, well at least that's Dey's first time attempt in doing so!
And we made bento boxes from the leftover ingredients too.
Presenting Dey's exclusive 'vomit' bento and mine, respectively. :D
Have this ever came to your mind? Well, actually it did happened to me, while on the bus journeys earlier on.
Self-disclosure: Though very difficult to do, we're all walking the path of self-actualization and improvement. No one is perfect, however it is essentially this imperfection that makes us human. But the one important thing is not to wallow in sadness or self-pity but instead, to forge on bravely and aim for the perfection we all yearn for.
I personally think that self-disclosure does play a vital role in relationships. Say if we do not know anything about another person, it is almost impossible to form a close relationship with her. That's what I probably feel that we have matured as close soul-mates.
As I always like to quote, "Do not judge a book by its cover till you've read it to the end. Do not judge a man by his clothes till you've walked a thousand miles in his shoes." Underneath Dey's cheerful personality is a maelstrom of ever-changing emotions. This made my tiny whirlpool seem so insignificant. You know? It's people like her that I meet along my way who inspire and mature me. There are moments when I ask myself, "What are you still sitting there for? Keep moving!" It has really been thought provoking.
All of us have our own problems and often, many would be surged with emotions and set their minds to thinking about the problems in their lives. It could be family issues, it could also be with regards to their work. It could even be about monetary problems. But at the end of the day, it's how we deal with them that decides how our own lives goes on, isn't it?
What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.
Even thou the day didn't ended exactly how it was planned. But I was contented. Moreover, it was a memorable day well spent with Dey, I couldn't have asked for more. (:
'cos Dey never fails to make my day a special one.
And
