Pulau Tekong Back To Singapore.

As weird as this may seem, I'm going to use the terms of boxers and briefs to describe my first two weeks of NS experience at BMTC.

It's amusing, ever since I discovered boxers back when I was still in Secondary 3, I never went back to briefs. The comfort it provided was unparalleled, and it felt more mature, in a way. LOL. Imagine the shock I felt when I was told I couldn't wear boxers or rather being advised not to in NS, as it will cause abrasion and stuff like that. Hence, I promptly bought a box of Renoma, and since my confinement began on 3rd June, I've worn nothing but briefs, briefs and briefs. And briefs...

So earlier on, my confinement period of 15 days finally came to an end, and I got home for the first time. Oh oh! While on the ferry trip back to mainland, I witnessed the first sunset after such a long long time, indeed it was truly an awesome sight during the entire 15mins ride on sea. Anyways, after nice WARM shower from head to toes, I put on a pair of boxers, and thought myself blissful. :D

But it wasn't comfortable. It was weird, awkward, awkweird. The sudden lack of constraints and support and structure and rigidity was so disconcerting... I'm not saying that I didn't like it, but man, it was so strange to get back to boxers once more. =_="

So yupp, going into NS is like switching over from boxers to briefs, and booking out is the other way around. NS was pretty fine for me, I guess. I've made plenty of new friends, my section mates are cool, and so are the people in my platoon, Falcon Coy. With an exception of a few 'weirdos'.

"Once a falcon, always a falcon!" - reminiscing the good old BMSS days. :D

The sergeants are tough most of the time, but I shouldn't have expected anything less from what's to come. Especially when one of them was my senior from Interior Design. x_______x" Felt the stress whenever he stares at me, and the thought of "Oh no, I'm a goner..." pops out in my mind automatically, almost instantly. It felt almost like I was getting into the swing of things...and then I'm back out again, and I can't help but feel down that I'm going back to NS/briefs once more this Sunday... T_______T

Ahhhhhhh... It states 38degree celsius on my thermometer. I think I'd better head to bed now, incase it raises up any higher. But before I end, I would like to share just this particular army song among many which I'm being taught of so far:

They say that in the Army!
The food is very nice!
You ask for curry chicken, they give you chao ta rice!

*Chorus*
"I don't want to lead an Army life, I just want to live a simple life!
PC I wanna go!
OC please let me go!
Mama I wanna go homeee!~"

They say that in the Army!
The girls are very nice!
You ask for Fiona Xie, they give you Patricia Mok!

*Chorus*

They say that in the Army!
The pay is very nice!
They give you a 100 dollars, they take back 99!

*Chorus*

They say that in the Army!
The Sergeants are very nice!
You ask for 1 more minute, they scold you Chao Chee Bye!

*Chorus*

"You can have everything in life that you want if you just give enough other people what they want."
